"Rīgas satiksme" starts issuing ISIC e-cards
Starting from today, September 5, pupils of Riga comprehensive and professional schools can receive ISIC e-cards (International Scholar Identity Card) in "Rīgas satiksme" customer service centres. ISIC e-cards may be used as e-tickets in public transport, as an identification document, as well as enable their holder to enjoy a wide range of discounts in Latvia and worldwide.
Every pupil/student or a parent can receive the card in any of "Rīgas satiksme" customer service centres. The card can be also issued to those who already use a Pupil’s e-card, which will be replaced by an ISIC e-card. The price of an ISIC e-card is EUR 7.10. After the card expires, it may be extended in any customer service centre of "Rīgas satiksme", where a new card will be issued for the new academic year.
